Who we are
Steve and Rika Dew are the Australian-Japanese couple behind Alpha Ski Tomamu. Steve has skied Hoshino Resorts Tomamu every season since 1999 and co-founded Alpha Ski Tomamu in 2023 alongside Rika to share three of the resort's best ski-in/ski-out apartments with other families and powder-chasers — booking direct, no platform fees, with the first-hand local knowledge that only long-term owner-operators can offer.
Rika grew up in Japan and handles all Japanese-language guest communication, on-the-ground coordination, and check-in logistics. Steve manages bookings and answers every English-speaking enquiry personally. When you contact us, you are talking to the people who own the apartments and know every corner of the mountain.
